Mirror ManHuman League(Oakey/Callis/Burden)The water shinesA pebble skips across the faceA dozen timesThen disappearsNot a trace left behindThe thrower turns and walks awayA change of mindAnother startA brand new dayYou know I'll changeIf change is what you requireYour every wishYour every dreamHope, desireHere comes the mirror manSays he's a people fanHere comes the mirror manAnd if it seemsI'm not the one you used to knowOur little friendshipLeft behind not long agoDon't feel too hurtAs distance heals the strongest painThings are much better nowAnd just a nagging doubt remainsYou know I'll changeIf change is what you requireYour every wishYour every dreamHope, desire
