Cold, Cold Death

made friends with last night and incompleteness

book ends and frostbight is salivating

when i go

they won't know

squadered a siren and drove myself drowned

wandered and worsened in conversation

since the fall

i recall

autumn fondly

cold, cold

death kills me more when they grieve

at the surgery

breathing a sigh to relieve

pent up perjury

rotting in ripeness to fill

full of somewhere

but they'll comb the country until

i'm in crosshairs
